The China Compulsory Certification (CCC) was introduced in 2003 as a compulsory certification and marking system for China. This certification system was established to create a uniform standard in the People’s Republic of China for selected products. The CCC certification replaced the certifications of the “China Commission for Conformity Certification of Electrical Equipment (CCEE)” and the “China Import and Export Commodity Inspection Bureau (CCIB)” for imported goods.
Products intended to be sold on the Chinese market and which are subject to compulsory certification are listed according to the type of product in the “First Catalogue of products subject to Compulsory Certification (CCC)". This compulsory certification applies to all goods produced in China, or imported to China, and which remain in China.
The Chinese central authority CNCA (Certification and Accreditation Administration) administers the CCC certificate. Different certification organizations (CQC, CCAP) are responsible for conducting the certification. In addition, CQC (China Quality Certification Centre) determines the product groups which are subject to compulsory certification.
With the introduction of the CCC certificate the CQC published the "First Catalogue of Products Subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC)". This catalogue featuring compulsory-certification products has been continuously extended ever since. Thus, a CCC certification has to be conducted for all goods which belong to any of the product groups specified by the CQC.
According to present knowledge DewertOkin products cannot obtain the CCC certification since they are not included in the “First Catalogue of Products Subject to China Compulsory Certification (CCC)“. The Harmonized System Codes (HS Codes) which apply to our products are not listed there.
DEWERT and OKIN products are so-called OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) goods. This means that these (our) products might be incorporated in our customers’ potentially certifiable finished products which, on the other hand, are eligible for CCC acceptance.
It is possible to issue a CB report subject to a charge. This report would facilitate a potential CCC acceptance of the customer’s product.
