MEDICA 2016: Dewert's successful trade fair presentation

Kirchlengern, Germany 30.11.2016
MEDICA, the world's largest medical trade fair that was held from 14 – 17 November in Düsseldorf, was very successful this year. The trade fair halls were completely filled by the many visitors – consisting of healthcare industry experts from around the world (128,000 attendees from 135 nations). Dewert's team was also very satisfied with their presentation over the course of the four days. As a global player in drive systems for the hospital and care sector, Dewert's trade fair stand attracted particularly large crowds. Visitors were very interested in the well-established products as well as Dewert's innovative new drive solutions. New product highlights were at centre stage: such as the MEGAMAT 12 drive, which is suited for the entire range of medical beds, and the début of the MEDBUS electronic bed control system. This system solution, while still in the evaluation phase, generated plenty of discussion at the Dewert stand.

At the conclusion of MEDICA, Dirk Flören, Head of Sales from Dewert was very satisfied: "We can look back on a very successful performance at this year's MEDICA, in terms of both the quality and the quantity of our many new contacts and technical consultations. Our advanced drive solutions and completely new product ideas enable us to provide a unique product portfolio. This was confirmed by the many interesting conversations we had with visitors at our stand," explained Flören about the successful time in Düsseldorf, adding: "Thanks to the outstanding teamwork of our trade fair crew, we were able to inform all interested attendees despite the large crowd. Our electric motor drives, which could be tested directly on the spot, were particularly well received. So, all in all, it was a very successful MEDICA 2016 – where we presented live, to a large international audience, the features and ‘inner strength’ that make our drive systems so special, and where trade fair visitor could learn what to expect from Dewert in the future."
