The virtual Dewert trade fair was a positive success

This year has been an enormous challenge for all of us. The cancellation of many trade fairs this year due to Covid-19 has hit the whole industry, including us, quite hard. This direct contact to new and existing customers cannot be replaced. Therefore, for the first time we went online with our virtual Dewert trade fair from November 16 to 19 – and the results from our digital VR event are positive!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all visitors who have logged into our VR event from all around the world. We are pleased with the consistently positive feedback, the stimulating technical discussions about the medical industry via live chat and video calls, and the great interest in our products. In addition to the interactive product presentations and easy contact with our sales staff, compatibility with VR glasses was a particular highlight for many visitors.

With this virtual event, we have created the opportunity to present our customers with our wide range of products in an unprecedented variety of applications for the hospital, care, spa and treatment sectors. Spread over several virtual themed rooms, almost twenty end products are available for experiencing in a photo-realistic environment. Each application is fully animated and shows the functionality as well as the components built into it, with direct references to data sheets and 3D animations. "Such a thing would not have been possible at a normal trade fair. This enables completely new approaches for presenting product presents. The first experiences reveal that customers are very impressed, both by the presentation of the virtual themed rooms and by the wide range of applications for our products. By integrating in proven formats, we combine the advantages of the virtual with those of the real world. This synergy enables us to present the benefits of our products to our customers in the best possible way," explains Nikolaus Netzel, Product Manager of Medical.
