Workspace Expo 2017

·         Prospective buyers show targeted demand for Okin technology

·         First ever presentation of the new Deskdrive ID21 system

·         Applications at the stand fill visitors with enthusiasm

Paris/Kirchlengern, 30. March 2017 - OKIN returns from this year's Workspace EXPO with numerous inquiries. The visitors appeared enthusiastic about the Office solutions, but first and foremost by the powerful lifting columns Inlinedrive ID21 and for the first time Deskdrive DD21. The lifting columns are specifically designed for tables without crossbars making a particularly low installation height possible and can be adapted to the individual table design thanks to the high-quality profiles. With the successful presentation, OKIN is supporting its strong position as a partner in the Office sector.

"The positive response to our Office products shows that powerful yet design-conscious lifting columns are valued by furniture makers", says Stefan Kruse, Product Manager for Office at OKIN. In particular, the manufacturer of drive and system solutions is satisfied with the quality of the conversations as well as the promising new contacts made locally. Numerous prospective buyers approached the company with specific inquiries which are explored more deeply together after the fair. Not only did the innovative products meet with great approval, but so did OKINs system expertise. “Our strength lies in being able to respond flexibly to the specific requests of furniture makers and to offer custom-made solutions”, explains Kruse.

OKIN presented its lifting columns Inlinedrive ID21 and for the first time the new Deskdrive DD21 at this year's Workspace EXPO. The drive solutions are particularly stable and also provide a high pressure force with a maximum stroke of 650 millimetres. In addition, quiet and smooth adjustment of the table is decisive for users. "Our special sliding system patented by OKIN fulfil these requirements reliably", says Kruse. All these features have been implemented in Okin's sleek design with no visible openings - this allows office furniture manufacturers a great deal of freedom with the design of their desks.

The desks were an eye-catcher at the stand thanks to the installed OKIN lifting columns and the appropriate control units of the type SMARTeco and COMPACTeco which meet the high standards of the marketplace with their integrated ISP collision protection. The control units recognise and synchronise the connected lifting columns and can also store and call up predefined positions. In addition, OKIN presented a wide range of handsets for operating the drive systems.
